Christmas is best celebrated together with family and friends. It is a common tradition to have guests over to enjoy the holiday ambiance together. To help you impress your guests as the host, we have prepared a guide of our favorite homemade dishes, along with dessert ideas to conclude the dinner. Preparing Christmas dinner is always a mess in your kitchen and home, but it could be fun and satisfying.
Beef Steak
A staple, and focal point in any main course is a properly grilled and seasoned steak. As the premier beef supplier in Bali, we provide a selection of the highest quality meat for you to choose from.
The first step for preparing a proper steak is to infuse the meat with flavor. For this, we recommend rubbing the steak with a fresh clove of garlic, then add a layer of sea salt crystals and a bit of peppercorns. Next, you need to think about how well you want to cook the steak. For most people aiming for a medium to well-done steak, you can set the oven temperature between 60C to 70C. With salmon, the initial drying of the fish is important and when done properly will make the cooking process a lot easier. A gentle pat down with a paper towel is sufficient, taking care not to agitate too much.
Ideally you want to preheat the oil on a medium heat, to ensure the salmon skin heats up immediately as it makes contact. This is to prevent the common issue of having the crispy skin stick to the pan and ruining the dish. Always cook the skin-side first and observe patiently as the heat cooks the fish from the bottom. The last step is to flip the fish and briefly cook the top until it’s done.
Strawberry Smoothies
