We are beyond excited to announce a new product added to our offering: Pita Pillows from Angel’s Bakery. For the last 90 years, Angel’s Bakery has been perfecting its legendary family recipe, so you should rest assured that when you bring home a Pita Pillow, you are bringing home the best.
What does it taste like?
Staying true to its name, biting into a piece of Pita Pillow is like sinking your teeth into a fluffy pillow! Its delicious taste and super bouncy texture will make you crave more.
How is it different to other pitas?
Unlike other pitas, which you might have had before, this pita is the heartier kind! Made with 6 natural ingredients, Pita Pillows are free of artificial flavors, colors, and preservatives. It comes in two different flavors – Classic White and Whole Wheat.
How do I know that it’s good for me?
Pita Pillows are naturally healthy. Angel’s Bakery Whole Wheat pita is certified 100% Whole Wheat by the Whole Grain Council with 52 grams of whole grains per serving. It is made with 100% all natural ingredients with 0-gram trans fat and 0 grams cholesterol.
How to prepare it?
To get a fresh out-of-the-oven taste, choose one of the following simple methods:
- Microwave for 1-1.5 min or 30-45 seconds depending on your microwave
- Bake with steam for 3-4 minutes
(Alternatively, sprinkle the pita with some water back and front, heat in the oven for 5min at 175-200C.)
How do you eat it?
Another name for Pita Pillow is the “edible container”. When you cut the Pita Pillow bread in half, you will find pockets, which can be filled with your favorite ingredients – cheese, bacon, tomato, mushrooms – you name it! The pocket-like structure also contributes to no spilling. You can rest assured that making a sandwich has never been easier!
